Good news for those who want to move their data of Whatsapp from iOS to Android OS, last month WhatsApp shared their plans how a user can now move WhatsApp chat history from iOS to any android device after Samsung revealed their flagship smart devices Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3.

Today this feature finally went live. So, if you have a Samsung handset on Android 10 or 11 and want to transfer your chat history to it from an iPhone, you can now do so.

This new feature is seamless and WhatsApp will not be sent your messages when you do the transfer and you can transfer videos, photos, and even voice messages too. Like, Android OS transfer, you will get prompts on the screen asking you to securely move your chats from an iPhone to an Android device and you must have USB-C to lightning wire to achieve this.

You can transfer almost everything, your profile photo, group chats, complete chat history, settings, media, and account information too. Your information will be intact while you move your chat history.

Step by Step process to transfer data is available here and WhatsApp claims this feature will be made available to other devices very soon. You can move data if your device is new or you reset your device to factory settings which will require Samsung Smart Switch.
