Last week Tecno launched Spark 8 in Nigeria, and GSMArena stated that from an anonymous source it got to know that it is expected that the smartphone Spark 8 will be launched in India next week.
Spark 8 is a budget-friendly phone making it a good option for those who don’t want to dig a hole in their pocket.

The specifications are no less than any other smartphone. The Tecno Spark 8 is built around a 6.5″ HD+ LCD with a notch for the 8MP selfie camera. The rear panel of the Spark 8, with the big “Stop At Nothing” text, sports a fingerprint reader and a dual-camera setup comprising a 16MP primary and a QVGA camera.
The Spark 8 has Helio P22 SoC with 2GB RAM and 64GB storage. For storage expansion it supports a microSD card slot. The Spark 8 runs HiOS 7.6 out of the box, which is based on Android 11 Go Edition, and fueling the entire package is a 5,000 mAh battery that charges through a microUSB port at up to 10W.
The phone sells for around $130 but we can expect the India price to be lower.
