iPhone 13 may shock the world with LEO Technology. With iPhone 12 Apple introduced 5G connectivity to Apple’s iPhone range. With the amount of favor shown by people for 5G, Apple will feature 5G with augmented capabilities. It is expected that Apple may introduce new cellular radio technology to the iPhone 13. According to experts, the iPhone may come with LEO (Low-Earth-Orbit) communication feature which facilitates calling and messaging in an area with spotty network signals.

Apple’s LEO technology
The introduction of Apple’s LEO technology is considered to be a big upgrade to the way iPhones have dealt with cellular connectivity. This LEO technology allows a device to create satellite-based communication even when it is not in the network range of 4G or 5G. It was Bloomberg in 2019, to report that Apple may use LEO Technology on the iPhones for faster transfer of data. Since then it is the first time we are hearing that the feature is likely to be implemented on the upcoming segment of the iPhone.
If rumors come true then not only the iPhone 13 but AR headset, Apple Car, and other Internet of Things products may also feature this Apple’s LEO Technology.
Will it work or not
The Qualcomm X60 baseband modem chip will make Apple’s LEO Technology work by supporting communication over satellite through some sort of customization in it. However this LEO mode will allow the reciprocity of calls and texts yet it is not clear if the feature will work with Apple services, such as iMessage and FaceTime. It might also be possible that Apple may use proxy satellite communication to beam information. It is also not known whether Apple is going to charge for this service or not.
The iPhone 13 is going to be an accretive upgrade. Some rumors even suggest that the iPhone may be called iPhone12S because of the pattern of how Apple classifies its models each year.
The iPhone 13 is expected to sport a small notch in its OLED display. This time as well there may be four models: the iPhone 13, mini, Pro, and Pro Max. The Pro models are being manufactured by Samsung for Apple and they may come with 120Hz ProMotion LTPO OLED displays. The iPhone 13 may come equipped with the Apple A15 Bionic processor. The camera may bring more features and enhancements to the image quality but these changes may not be so big.
